Biography
of Chun-Tang Chao in English
Chun-Tang Chao received the B.S.
degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National
Central University, Taiwan
and M.S. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1989 and 1991,
respectively. In 1995, he received the Ph.D. degree from the Department of
Electrical and Control Engineering, National Chiao
Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, Republic of China. In
1993, he received the Annual Paper Award of the Chinese Engineer Society.
During his service in Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan, his
research on Thermal Transfer Color Printer won the gold medal of Outstanding
Achievement Award in 1997. In 2000,
he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Southern Taiwan University
of Technology, Tainan Hsien, Taiwan,
Republic of China, where he is currently an Assistant Professor in control
theory and signal processing. In 2002, he did a short-term research in the
Department of Electrical Engineering, University
of Washington, Seattle. His
research interests include musical robot, intelligent control systems, power
system, and digital signal processing.
